Developing Comprehension from the start; Improving reading for all children
Hosted by Salusbury Primary School, Chrysalis hub, this event is open to all primary phase practitioners and will last approximately 90 minutes.
Salusbury Primary School's ambition is to create a strong learning context for reading. The school has used a strong system for organising reading support as a vehicle to shape a broad literacy programme that is responsive to the needs of the local community. This allows them to refine and fine tune practice term by term. The session will look at the schools' journey to create this reading environment, whilst also share how they are adapting to meet the changing needs of learners in a post-lockdown world.
