This session will explore how a school can further develop their practice to provide a high quality Oracy education which empowers pupils, regardless of their background, to find their voice for success in school and in life. During the session we will be reflecting on some of the approaches and strategies that have been used successfully and had a direct impact on outcomes - focusing on empowering pupils to learn to talk well and also learn well through talk.
Rachel Seneque will be joined by Worcestershire Speech and Language therapist, Sarah Morris, who will discuss how the school’s approach has also supported children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
