The Leigh UTC has created a culture of business engagement by embedding opportunities for students to contextualise their learning to ‘real’ life issues.
We invite you to join us in exploring the variety of initiatives and programmes we have created which allow the barriers between education and businesses to dissolve. You will hear from the school’s leadership team, staff directly involved in building the programmes, students experiencing the opportunities and a business partner who plays a prominent role in our everyday focus. The Leigh UTC’s vision and ambition ensures business engagement is always a priority.
There will be opportunities to get involved in the planning of a project designed to enthuse both businesses and students. You will also be invited to ask questions about the impact certain initiates have had on all involved.
The session is designed for leaders at all levels, so all parties can share the experiences and be inspired to support each other.
