Over the last 3 years, St Catherine's CE Primary has been designing and embedding a truly bespoke curriculum in meticulous detail which is focused on children knowing more, remembering more and applying more.
In this session, we will explore the journey of creating and implementing our knowledge rich curriculum, the layers of detail which sit within it, how teachers are delivering it and the impact it is having with our children. We will share with you documents we have developed for key knowledge and vocabulary which link across subjects and year groups, and how these have shaped the knowledge organisers and medium-term plans. We will also share with you our simple quizzing approach and the trackers that sit alongside.
There will be opportunities to discuss your own journey with a knowledge rich curriculum within breakout rooms and there will be time at the end for questions.
